ACROBATIC held a themed day on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Hotel Kong Arthur in Copenhagen on June 19th 2024.
ACROBATIC held a themed day on AI at Hotel Kong Arthur in Copenhagen on June 19th 2024. It was an inspiring day with a high level of content looking into the wondrous world of AI. The talks looked into the neural networks and prediction models behind AI, common data standards, clinical projects using AI, and how to implement AI in the clinic, and much more from our invited AI experts and users:

- Isamil Gögenur from Center for Surgical Science
- Jasper Nijkamp from Danish Centre for Particle Therapy
- Therese Juul and Peter Christensen from Department of Surgery a Aarhus University Hospital
The day started with a basic overview of AI, which escalated to discussing the use of AI in different clinical projects. Lastly, the day ended with a generic brainstorming session on the use of AI within ePROMs and the future prospect of a common AI infrastructure in ACROBATIC across cancer types.
The next steps for AI in Denmark will be truly interesting! Will we be able to make a common Danish infrastructure for AI?
